This summary explains, in plain language, how Salescape handles the information you share when you contact us or request a demonstration.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry or request a demonstration, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, contact details, company, and message. We also record basic technical information (such as the time of the request) to help us respond and prevent abuse. If you are invited into an organisation's Salescape workspace, we record whether the invitation email was delivered, opened or clicked and — only once you have signed in as a member — which workspace rooms you visit and the actions you take there, so that we can support your organisation; visitors who have not signed in are not tracked this way.
Website analytics
Salescape uses PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how its pages are used: which pages are viewed, what is clicked, the kind of device and browser, and the address you arrived from, with IP addresses anonymised. On the AI Librarian pages, analytics sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, so each visit is counted on its own and we cannot tell when you return. Visits may be recorded as a session replay to help us improve the pages; typed input is masked, and conversations with an AI Librarian are excluded from recordings entirely. When you ask a Librarian a question, analytics receives only an irreversible fingerprint and the length of the question — never its words — plus whether it was answered and how many sources were cited. If you arrived from an introduction email sent through Salescape, the link carries a random code that tells us which introduction led to the visit; it does not identify you. We also record whether an introduction email was delivered, and whether it was opened (an open may be recorded automatically by your email software).
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration, and follow up about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored securely as our record of your request, and notifications are delivered to our team by email. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
